Dear Colleagues and Students,
As you may be aware, some of our neighboring colleges have received messages this morning containing bomb threats to their institutions.
While Shoreline has NOT received any of these messages, and there is NO ACTIVE THREAT to campus, College administration will continue to monitor events to ensure ongoing campus safety. Local and federal law enforcement agencies are also aware of these threats, and their investigation is ongoing.
If a threat is received, communication to campus will occur immediately and campus security will work with law enforcement partners to assess the threat and take the necessary actions to protect our College. Students and the campus community will be notified through RAVE Alerts and by email accordingly if a threat emerges.
Employees can update their RAVE Alerts communication preferences at Emergency Communication Preferences.
As always, if you receive a threatening email or see something suspicious on campus, please alert Safety & Security immediately by calling 206-235-5860.
Employees experiencing stress or other impact from this messaging please work with their supervisor and Human Resources for support.
Thank you.
