On Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11) Shoreline’s dental hygiene program will host Smiles for Veterans, a day where veteran’s and their families who most need it can receive free dental care. The supplies needed are costly, but the group has set up an indiegogo to raise funds. So what can you do? Donate if you can, or help spread the word so others can donate! The site can be found here and sharing tools for social media platforms can be found on the page. The care provided can help prevent oral diseases from becoming systemic and causing larger, more serious health problems from happening.
