You will build a real mindfulness practice from the ground up. Each session combines nervous system awareness, breath work, and somatic tools in a hands-on, relational setting. Leave with skills you can actually use, not just an understanding of the concept.

Jigna Patel is a mindfulness and somatic life coach with over a decade of experience in high-pressure professional environments, including roles at Amazon and several startups. After navigating burnout, career transitions, and the demands of fast-paced work culture firsthand, she shifted her focus to helping others build sustainable, grounded practices for whatever life throws at them. Looking to be creative and not have to leave campus? Join artist Renee Plevy to learn drawing & painting in Gouache (opaque watercolor) 

In this class you will learn how to use this unique water-based opaque paint which has been used by illustrators for years, as well as being extremely portable for home use or “Plein Aire” outdoor painting. Artist Renee Plevy will start with the basics so that you will have the tools to paint whatever you desire in the future in whatever medium you choose. Learn drawing basics, positive negative space, shadows, and more before moving on to color values, the color wheel, color theory and how to set up your palette, choose paints, brushes, etc. Learn how to avoid the most common mistakes and be on your way to create beautiful personal paintings for your home or gifts. Italian for Beginners: Learning for travel or fun!   

Planning a trip to Italy? Curious about the language and culture? Or simply looking for a fun way to learn something new? This beginner-friendly course introduces students to practical Italian language skills and cultural insights in a relaxed, engaging environment. No previous knowledge of Italian is required, and no textbook is needed. Over eight interactive classes, students will build confidence in everyday communication while exploring Italian customs, food, travel, and daily life. The emphasis is on useful vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation practice, and cultural context. This class is in a hybrid format:  First and last classes offered both in person and live online; all other classes meet online only.

Vittoria Todisco is a native Italian speaker, born and raised in Puglia, in southern Italy. Although her academic and professional background is in marine biology, education and mentoring have been an important part of her career.
