Canvas to be updated

The next Canvas update will be on Saturday, Oct. 26; there are improvements to:

Conversations (Message inbox)

• Opt-In to New Conversation style, click the question icon and select the Try New Conversations option. Courses drop-down menu, you can filter messages by course
• Automatically link URLs in messages. Conversations that contain a URL within a message will display the URL as a clickable link. This feature only applies after the message has been sent and appears in the Inbox.

For Math questions:

• Relative Error in Quiz Formula Questions. Canvas will compute responses for Quiz Formula questions based on relative error in addition to absolute error. Margins of error can now be created as a percentage or as a point value (up to three decimal places).

Improvement to Mobile Login page

• Our moblie login page will now look the same as our web login page.
