A&E planning a PechaKucha

Hi All,

The Arts & Entertainment Board is planning a PechaKucha event for Jan. 29. What is PechaKucha you ask? Well, it is a particular presentation style where you project 20 images for 20 seconds each and talk alongside the images as they advance automatically making the presentation a total of 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

This format was created to allow for multiple presentations to be given in a concise manner in which the audience is continuously engaged. PechaKucha is intended for anyone to share their ideas, travels, research, art etc… I know that many people on this campus have conducted critical research, gained insight and perspective from travelling, are artists, etc. so we would like to encourage YOU to share your story (or encourage someone you know to share theirs!).

We are excited to bring staff, faculty and students together in this new endeavor and hope you will be a part of it! For more information about PechaKucha and to view presentations, please visit: http://www.pechakucha.org/

Please email your proposal (or any questions you may have) to me! Thanks!

Best Regards,

Rezina Habtemariam
