This weekend

There are quite a few events happening this weekend and here’s a look at them!

Friday, Dec. 6:

Last day of classes! Wahoo (Well, sorta… it’s a bittersweet feeling isn’t it?)

SCCFT is sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Puget Sound Labor Agency. Bring healthy, non-perishable foods (convenient, high-protein items are especially useful!) In lieu of food, checks can be made out to the Puget Sound Labor Agency. Look for the blue boxes in the FOSS, Admin, Library, Math/Science and Health Occupations buildings from Friday, Dec. 6, to Thursday, Dec. 12.

The small ensembles will perform at 12:30-1:30 for the end of the quarter. Free admission in the music building!

Shoreline’s Drama department presents Neil Simon’s “Rumors”. Click to order tickets for the shows. Shows are on Dec. 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 & 14 all at 7:30. Tickets are $11 for general admission, $9 for seniors and non students & $7 for students.

This evening (7-9 p.m.) will be a showcase of singer/songwriters from the Shoreline Community College Music Program. Join us for performances in a close, intimate setting at The Bounty – North City. Performers will include Don Hutton, Dave West, Michael Scott Bates, Tabitha Doonan, Brandee Noel and bluegrass group “Pulling 60”.

Tegrity license up this year

The Tegrity Lecture Capture license is up for renewal this year and The State Board has issued a RFP (Request for Proposals). One of the proposal requirements is that the vendor provides a method for transferring the existing Tegrity recordings.

Please let elearning@shoreline.edu  know if you have questions and we will keep you apprised of the renewal process.

Thank you.

Rumors

rumorsShoreline’s Drama department presents Neil Simon’s “Rumors”

At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife Chris must get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.

Click to order tickets for the shows. Shows are on Dec. 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 & 14 all at 7:30. Tickets are $11 for general admission, $9 for seniors and non students & $7 for students.
