The week ahead

Here are a few of the things happening on campus this week:

Monday, Jan. 27:

The SBA parliament will host a meeting in the PUB quiet dining room from 3-5 p.m.! Make sure to encourage students to get involved their student government!

Come say good-bye at the sayonara HTC students sale before they return to Japan, and pick up a bargain in the process from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.!  The students will be selling all sorts of gear at great prices in the PUB Quiet Dining Room.  Come early for the best selection, come late for the best prices!  One day only!

Wednesday, Jan. 29:

Men’s and Women’s basketball takes on Northwest Indian College. Women’s game starts at 5:30 and Men’s starts at 7:30. #GoDolphins

Thursday, Jan. 30:

Celebrate the Lunar New Year in the PUB from 11:30 am – 1:30 p.m. Activities will include making dumplings with a chef, calligraphy and paper cutting (sort of like making paper snowflakes!).

The Global Affairs Center will host a conversation about the status of the more than 500,000 refugees from Syria in Jordan, and its impact on Jordanian society and foreign policy. Guests: Dr. Dima N. Malhas (Chung, Malhas & Mantel in Seattle and Jordan born), and Alaa Malhas (Media Consultant to UNICEF Country Office, Amman, Jordan also Jordan born and participating via Skype).

Friday, Jan. 31:

Join us for Canvas Training in room 1308 from 11:30-1pm. The eLearning staff will tackle gradebooks in the this first session. Meetings will happen every Friday until March 14.
