Monday, Feb. 10:
The SBA parliament will host a meeting in the PUB quiet dining room from 3-5 p.m.! Make sure to encourage students to get involved in their student government!
Tuesday, Feb. 11:
Free workshop that will discuss the elements of fiction and how to find them in short stories and novels your professors assign. This workshop will prepare you to effectively analyze and write about fiction. All readers welcome in room 1501 at 12:30 p.m.
My People are Rising: Memoir of a Black Panther Party Captain. In Honor of Black History Month, the Multicultural Center welcomes a part of local Seattle History Aaron Dixon. Dixon will share with us his life experiences as retold through his recently published book. Be in the PUB quiet dining room at 1 for a discussion with Dixon.
Wednesday, Feb. 12:
Come learn about love! So much is written about love, but what is it and how does it affect us physiologically and emotionally? This fun workshop will provide answers to some of those questions and will include time to reflect on the relational connections in your own life with presenter Shelley Pearson. Starts at 12:30 p.m. in the quiet dining room.
Thursday, Feb. 13:
Learn a process for proofreading your writing so that you can find and correct more of your own sentence errors in a free workshop in room 1501 at 12:30 p.m.
MASKED a semi-formal masquerade fundraiser. Tickets are $4 presale, $5 Non-SCC students and $7 at the door. Starts at 6:30 p.m. in the PUB.
Friday, Feb. 14:
An All Campus Meeting is planned for 12:30 – 2 p.m. in the PUB’s Main Dining Room. The meeting topic(s) are TBD. Details will be posted prior to the 14th.
