The week ahead

Here is a look at what is happening this week on and around campus!

Tuesday, Feb. 18:

Celebrate the success of the MLK Day of service food drive with a volunteer appreciation tea! 2-4 p.m. in the quiet dining room.

The Global Affairs Center hosts Lisa Libassi (Nursing faculty at Shoreline) at 11: 30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in PUB room 9298 for a discussion on volunteer experience in Haiti and Africa.

 

Thursday, Feb. 20:

A conversation about the many cultures and worldviews found in the more than 40 countries that comprise Africa, with particular focus on Nigeria, Uganda, and Kenya. Guests Onum Abbey Esonu (Department of Planning and Development, City of Seattle) and Dr. Omara Bejamin Abe (Anthropology Dept., North Seattle Community College, emeritus) will join the GAC at 7 p.m. in the PUB quiet dining room.

Friday, Feb. 21:

Tutto Mozart begins! 7:30 p.m. in the theater.

Canvas workshop on Tegrity. 11:30-1 p.m. in 1308.
