Scheduling office on schedule

Room scheduling functions at Shoreline Community College will continue while staff changes are made.

Steve Gibler has returned temporarily to manage the bulk of the scheduling-office work. However, there will be a brief transition period as Gibler moves from his current part-time duties in cashiering. During this transition, Lynn Yaw will continue to assist with scheduling.

This isn’t the first time Gibler has pitched in to help with the job he retired from and held for many years. “Having Steve’s knowledge and experience with scheduling and the other duties of the office is tremendously helpful,” Interim Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs Alison Stevens said.

Those across campus who need to interact with the scheduling office should do so as they normally would, Stevens said.

The duty shuffle is temporary as Human Resources works to post and fill the position on a permanent basis. Sharon Wines, who most recently filled the position, is no longer working for the college.
