There are two screenings of a Chinese film entitled “Beijing Meets Seattle” or “Finding Mr. Right” scheduled in the SCC theater for April 16, once at noon and the second at 6:15 p.m.
The film runs for 2 hours and there will be a 45 minute discussion to follow. While the film is rather mainstream in broad themes, it also addresses some controversial issues in today’s China, and those will be part of the discussion that follows.
The film has English and Mandarin with the Mandarin sections being subtitled in English (not Dubbed).
