Students get fourth-week heads-up and satisfaction survey

The following message is posted at today.shoreline.edu and sent to all students:

Today starts the fourth week of the quarter, a great time to check in on how you are doing in class, get some help if needed and make sure you are on track for success.

Take stock & take control

Start by checking your grades. Most instructors post grades online, but if not, ask in class or during office hours. Or, check in with your advisor. Every student at Shoreline has an assigned advisor. You can look it up or call 206-546-4559. Or, come to the PUB on Wednesday and get some help.

Think you need some academic assistance? Shoreline has lots of resources and here they are all in one place for you!

Take the survey

This Wednesday, add your voice to the Student Voice Project. You and every other Shoreline student will receive an invitation to take part in a Student Satisfaction Survey. Look for an e-mail to your go.shoreline.edu account with the title “Student Voice Project,” then:

  1. Click the link
  2. Enter the pass code
  3. Complete the survey

Your responses will do two things:

  1. Help the college get  better
  2. Enter you in a drawing for one of 20, $25 gift certificates to the bookstore

On Wednesday, volunteers will be available in the PUB, the library and several other places on campus to help you get connected with the survey.

Have a great week and take stock, take control and take the survey!
