Free Workshop! If your professor tells you to “explain,” “go deeper,” or “support your claims,” this workshop will give you two tools for doing just that. Get started on the path to stronger critical thinking in room 1501 at 11:30 a.m.

Wednesday, April 30:

Between the Lines – Shoreline’s Community read continues with its look at The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks at 11:30 in room 9202.

Free workshop! In this workshop we’ll discuss the elements of fiction and how to find them in short stories and novels your professors assign. This workshop will prepare you to effectively analyze and write about fiction in room 1501 at 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 1:

Get yourself better prepared for an emergency at home, college, work or in your car from 10 – 1:30 p.m. Stop by the 9000 Building Lobby to learn about Emergency Kits, food and water storage and what is needed to help keep you safe. 

Great Discussions 2014 continues in the boardroom at 6:30 p.m. with a discussion on energy independence
