The current graduates of Shoreline’s Associate of Fine Art Degree will present samples of their work until May 9 in the art gallery in the 1000 building. Each year, students in the final stages of their degree will present their finest examples of painting, drawing, printmaking, graphic design, photography, sculpture, and ceramics.
Presidential candidate on campus
The in-person portion of selecting a new president for Shoreline Community College continues today.
On Friday, April 11, Cheryl Roberts, President of Chemeketa Community College, in Salem, Ore., is scheduled to be on campus for her series of interviews. The public forum for Roberts is also scheduled 2:45-3:45 p.m. and will be in the PUB main dining room.
She will go through a full day of meetings and events. The days start with a reception, then an interview with members of the college Executive Leadership, a break for lunch followed by a campus tour, the open public forum, a similar forum with students and then an interview and dinner with the Board of Trustees.
Feedback forms will be available at the public forum sessions. Feedback from those sessions will be collected and forwarded to the board for use in making a final decision. The trustees are also accepting feedback via e-mail at: sccpressearch2014@shoreline.edu

Please join us for the third and final concert of Larionoff and McCabe’s “Beethoven Project” at 3 p.m. in the theater. In this two-year series of recital programs, the duo has presented the complete violin and piano sonatas of this magnificent composer. This concert will feature the sublime and masterful Sonata in A major, Opus 47 “Kreutzer.”

Great Discussions 2014
The Global Affairs Center is hosting Great Discussions 2014 this quarter. The group will meet on Thursday nights in room 1010 and the cost is $35, which includes all necessary materials. Below is a list of the topics.
