Join us on May 22, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Room 1715 for a discussion of academic advising services at Shoreline.

Each panelist will briefly explain the advising services in her area, followed by an open discussion with faculty/staff who attend the event.

Focus

  1. What should faculty and staff understand about the academic advising services provided to students?
  2. How can faculty support Advisors regarding academic advising?
  3. How can all of us as SCC improve academic advising for students?

Goals

  • Advance faculty understanding of academic advising processes
  • Strengthen communications between academic advisors and faculty and classified staff
