The retreat is scheduled, rooms are booked, and food has been ordered. Currently there are 13 faculty attending but we have room for more if you sign up ASAP! All Full-time and Associate Faculty who teach online are welcome – even if you are not teaching this Summer!
Here are the basic details:
It will be held from Thursday, July 17, at 2 p.m. through Friday, July 18, at 3 p.m. at the Dumas Bay Centre in Federal Way. All meals and rooms are included and mileage will be reimbursed (no cost to you!). There are also carpool options available from SCC. If you have to teach on Thursday midday or afternoon, no problem. You are welcome to arrive a little late – we will catch you up quickly.
Livia Sa and Amy Rovner will be reviewing the Quality Matters process, helping you align your course objectives with your assessments and starting to get your class prepared for QM Review.
It will be a great learning experience as well as quality time with your peers in a beautiful setting.
If you have been considering it, now is the time to commit because we need to finalize our numbers with the Retreat Center.
