SCC Foundation is a recipient of kindness from glassbaby.

glassbaby is more than beautiful hand blown candle holders; it’s also about kindness and giving.

glassbaby’s website states that since day one, glassbaby lovers have been all about giving and giving back. In this spirit, 10% of their revenue goes directly to organizations that support people in all kinds of need.

The SCC Foundation, along with three other local nursing education programs; became recent recipients of glassbaby’s kindness.  Their “perfectly imperfect” glassbaby seconds sale took place this past June. The four schools shared more than $13,500 raised by the sale. The SCC Foundation glassbaby kindness nursing scholarship will be be made available to nursing students for the 2015–16 school year.
