Rebecca Kenney participated in an open forum on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 as part of the selection process to fill the job of Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Shoreline Community College.

Kenney was Vice President of Instruction at Renton Technical College through June, 2014. She is one of three finalists vying for the position, all of whom are scheduled to go through the same process, including the open forum. Each open forum will run from 2-3 p.m. and take place in the PUB Main Dining Room. Each candidate will have the first 20 minutes of the forum to respond to questions that have been suggested by campus community members through an online survey. The remaining 40 minutes will be available for answering questions from those attending the forums or other comments by the candidates.

Peter Lortz, Dean of Math and Science at North Seattle College, had his forum and other processes on Monday, Sept. 29. James Collins is the third and final candidate recommended by the screening committee and scheduled for Friday, Oct. 3.

The forums will be available for viewing on video after all three have been completed.
