Friday, Oct. 24:
Free Workshop! Improve your ability to identify and use the different parts of a sentence in room 1501 at 1@:30 p.m. (For intermediate and advanced ESL students and others wanting a basic review of English grammar.)
Join us for Panopto 101 in room 1401 at 2 p.m. A basic introduction to using our new lecture capture program. We will be in a computer lab so you can practice your new skills!
Come spend some time with our wonderful Music and Music Technology faculty members for anecdotes, pointers and Q&A in room 818 at 12:30 p.m.
World Dance party in the PUB main dining room at 6:30 p.m.

Men’s and Women’s soccer travels to Skagit Valley. Women’s game at 12 p.m. and Men’s at 2:15. #GoPhins
Men’s basketball hosts Kwantlen Polytechnic University for a scrimmage at 6 p.m. #GoPhins
Monday, Oct. 27:
Free writing workshop on learning techniques to construct strong argumentative papers. Remind students about this great resource happening at 11:30 a.m. in room 1501.
The Queer Film Festival continues with a screening of In God’s House: Asian American Lesbian & Gay Families in the Church at 12:30 p.m. in room 9208.
Students can come learn how to prepare for Dental, Medical, Pharmacy School with Amar Yahiaioui (chemistry faculty) and Joyce Fagel (SCC and UW Adviser) in room 2812 at 1:30 p.m.
Free Workshop! (For intermediate/advanced ESL students) Learn when to use “a”, “an” or “the” in room 1501 at 3 p.m. This workshop presents a strategy for deciding the correct articles in your writing.
