As of Dec. 30, 2014, delivery of ORCA cards by King County Metro Transit to Shoreline Community College is delayed.
Students interested in buying an ORCA card for winter quarter 2015 will be able to sign-up on a waiting list at the Cashier’s Office starting Dec. 31, 2014. When ORCA cards do arrive on campus, students on the list will be contacted and then have two days to return to the Cashier’s Office to pay for and obtain a card.
The college will have 650 cards available. Cards on hold for students who don’t pay for and pick up within two days will be returned to the pool and available for purchase.
