Seattle Times photographer at manufacturing program

Seattle Times photographer Mike Siegel was on campus Thursday, March 12, 2015 to gather images in the CNC Machinist program. Siegel was shooting for a story about I-BEST programs being worked on by Times reporter Katherine Long. Long visited Shoreline in February. The story will look at a I-BEST programs at a number of colleges and may be published in late March or early April.

Born and raised in Seattle and an Ingraham High School alum, Siegel has a journalism degree from the University of Washington. He has been a staff photographer at The Seattle Times for 28 years and Seattle Sonics NBA team photographer in the late ’70s and early ’80s.
