Lisa Dorgan is now serving as acting director of the Parent-Child Center at Shoreline Community College.
As of March 20, 2015, Dorgan is taking over the leadership responsibilities for the center from Darlene Bakes, who has left the college. Staff and parents at the center have been notified of the change.
“Lisa has graciously agreed to step in as the acting director of the center effective immediately,” said Terry Taylor, Acting Dean of Social Science, the Parent-Child Center and other areas. “Her long experience will be invaluable to all of us during the transition.”
Dorgan has been manager at the center, where she has worked since 1999. She holds an AA degree in Early Childhood Education earned here at Shoreline.
Taylor said he expects that a search process for a new permanent director will begin soon.
