Assistant soccer coach Sergio Martinez
Sergio Martinez, an assistant coach with the Shoreline Community College men’s soccer team has been diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL).
“Our prayers and thoughts are with Sergio and his family,” Athletic Director Steve Eskridge said on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015. “Sergio is currently at Swedish Edmonds Campus (formerly Stevens Hospital) and will be transferred to a Seattle hospital.”
Eskridge said a card for Martinez will be in the Athletic Office for anyone to come by and sign.
