Shoreline Community College offers deep condolences and heartfelt support to all those affected by the tragic bus accident today, Sept. 24, in Seattle involving international students and staff from North Seattle College.
The community college and international student communities are close-knit. While no Shoreline students or staff were in the accident, Shoreline is making its counseling resources available to all its students and employees who may feel the need for support at this time. In addition, Shoreline is offering counseling resource support to its North Seattle colleagues as needed.
“During these times of sudden and unimaginable tragedy, coming together to support one another is all the more important,” Shoreline Community College President Cheryl Roberts said. “Our thoughts are with all those who are impacted by today’s events.”
