   I attended this forum yesterday and appreciated the SLC department for bringing this very important issue to SCC campus yet I was so disappointed not seeing more of the college staff in attendance.
   My department coworkers have been very sympathetic but could not really understand my pain. As if to say, ‘but don’t all lives matter why so much about black lives only matter’.
   Even as I leave this comment, my tears will not subside.
   I’d like to thank the faculty who brought their students to this very important gathering but as I looked around at the students who attended there were more IE students than domestic student. So sad.
   ‘We the people, not just some of the people…’
