Dear Colleague,
We were saddened to learn of the recent passing of Mary Kelemen. Mary was a member of Shoreline Community College from 2000 through her retirement in July of 2015.
Linda Hilton, Mary’s spouse, shared the following with us.
“Mary Elizabeth Kelemen died April 14, 2018 of a cerebral hemorrhage in Seattle, Washington. She came to Washington State, from Michigan, to work as Director of the Shoreline Community College Bookstore. During her 15 years at Shoreline she assumed more responsibilities due to her extraordinary management and problem-solving skills.
Mary loved quilting, reading, cooking, and travel but nothing as much as her four children, Jennifer, Amy, David, Andy and her three grandchildren Allie, Oscar, and Isabelle—all of whom survive her, as well as her spouse Linda Hilton. She will be greatly missed.
At Mary’s request, there will be a private family service and the scattering of her ashes in the Pacific Ocean.”
