Open Enrollment is a Great Time to Check Your Beneficiaries

Check your beneficiaries

The PEBB Program’s annual open enrollment (November 1 through 30) is a good time to check your beneficiary information for your PEBB life insurance and health savings account (HSA) if you have one. Not only is it important to make sure you have the right person (or people) listed, but that all contact information is up to date.

It is also a good idea to check your beneficiaries for other insurance or financial accounts (such has retirement savings) if you have them.

To check your current beneficiaries and make changes:

Life Insurance – Log in to MetLife’s MyBenefits portal. On your profile page, click Group Life Insurance, then click the Beneficiaries tab. You can also call MetLife at 1-866-548-7139 to request a Group Term Life Insurance Beneficiary Designation form.

Health Savings Account (HSA) – If you have an HSA, you can complete the Beneficiary Designation form or log in to your HealthEquity account and select Beneficiaries located under the My Account tab.

Update from Facilities re: Building Heat

Good morning,

Due to the ransomware incident, Maintenance lost the ability to monitor the heat in buildings through our access control system.  We have been working diligently with TSS and our control system provider (ATS) to resolve this issue.  Until we have access to our system, Maintenance has been adjusting the heat manually at each building throughout the day.  Though we can manually adjust, we are unable to set a temperature range and we are unable to monitor when buildings become too hot or cold.  If your area is chilly, please email Facilities (facilities@shoreline.edu).  We will do our best to respond quickly to adjust the temperature.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Missing Amazon orders!!!

If you might have received an Amazon order that may contain items of closing or random items, the theater is looking for potentially misrouted deliveries.  These are items that are imperative to our upcoming production of “Wrinkle in Time”.  With only a couple weeks till we open the show, we are frantically hoping that we can get help from the campus in finding any of the missing deliveries!   You can contact John Nold at jnold@shoreline.edu if you have an Amazon delivery or know where a misplaced delivery may be!
