2nd Annual Soupsgiving Event 11/21/24

Greetings, 

Get your crockpots and tastebuds ready – the “Golden Ladle” award is once again up for grabs at our Second Annual SOUPSGIVING Contest and Employee Event! This year’s celebrity judge will be none other than our own faculty member Tony Doupe (a superstar both on campus and in the film industry!). Awards will include the 2024 Golden Ladle (selected by our celebrity judge) and the People’s Choice (based on employee votes). 

Who: All employees are welcome to submit a soup to share with the campus community, OR to just attend as a taste taster and voter!  

Supervisors: Please work with your employees to support attendance if they are unable to do so on their lunch break. 

What: SOUPSGIVING – a fun event to promote employee relationships, support students, and serve up both tasty soup and bragging rights.

When: Thursday, November 21, 12:00-1:30pm

Where: PUB 9208, Quiet Dining Room

Register your entry here!  Please register by November 14, 2024.  A full recipe (or ingredient list) is required for allergen purposes.  

NOTE: To gain entry to this event, please bring an item for the Student Benefits Hub and Food Pantry (suggestions below).  

• *NEW* Socks or Winter Accessories (Gloves, Mittens, Knit Caps, Scarves, Jackets, Sweaters)
• Snacks and Ready-to-Eat Meals (Small bags of Chips, Granola Bars, Cup of Noodles, Soup)
• Cans of Vegetables, Beans, Fruit, and Meat
