Hello Campus Community,
The college has been approved for an emergency declaration to mitigate flooding issue in the orchestra pit in 1600. Work began yesterday 12/18/24. The stage apron will be dissembled to remove the orchestra pit floor. The stage apron will then be re-installed to ensure the stage can continue to be used while we mitigate the flooding issue. There will be no impact to building 1600 and any scheduled productions will be able to proceed. The contractor will work to resolve the issue with the orchestra pit flooding when the stage is not in use. This project should be completed by the end of January 2025.
