Dear Campus Community,
We want to provide you with an important update regarding the federal aid pause we communicated about yesterday. The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has officially rescinded the federal aid freeze, according to a memo that went out this morning.
This means that all federal grants and loans are no longer subject to the temporary pause, and funding processes should continue as usual. While the initial pause caused some confusion and concern, we are thankful that this issue appears to have been resolved.
In response to the freeze, our Attorney General’s Office joined other states in filing to block its enforcement. With the order now rescinded, it remains unclear whether that litigation will continue. We will share any relevant updates as we learn more.
We appreciate your patience as we navigated this rapidly changing situation. Thank you for all you do to support our students and our community.
Best,
Jack
