Events and News:
Hello all,
I hope you are doing well. This week has been unremarkable on my end and more straightforward in terms of workload etc. Busy week as usual, just not a lot new to report. I was hoping to have some updates to the state budget situation, but I have not been sent anything, nor have I seen any updates that are available.
Cheers,
Jack

Communication and Marketing
As you have likely noticed, many campus-wide emails (like this one) are now coming from the Public Information Office (PIO) email account. The PIO is a component of the Communications & Marketing Department that gathers and shares information with the community. We’ve started using this email address to establish greater consistency with our messaging and to make it easier for recipients to identify updates that are sent to the entire campus community.

Guided Pathways
This spring, Shoreline is participating in the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE), which will be administered in a random sample of classrooms across the institution. You will receive further information from your Division and from the Guided Pathways team if your class is selected to be part of the survey.
We will also administer the Community College Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (CCFSSE), an online survey which elicits faculty perceptions of student educational experiences and their own teaching practices.
We plan to use CCSSE and CCFSSE results to promote institutional improvement, and it is vital that our faculty have a voice in these efforts. The ability to view faculty and student survey responses side-by-side can help us identify areas of strength as well as challenges and areas for improvement.
To aid in these efforts, your participation in CCFSSE is requested. The Center for Community College Student Engagement (CCCSE) will send faculty members an e-mail link to the online survey, which is to be completed between April 28 and May 31. CCFSSE responses are anonymous, and CCCSE will not provide colleges with information that could result in individual faculty members being identified, so please be completely candid in your responses.
We appreciate your cooperation and participation in this exciting initiative!

It is with great pleasure to announce the network rewiring project has been completed by the third-party provider (Milne). We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we navigated the many delays and disruptions that this project has caused.
