Next week, our campus will welcome back the Western Energy Institute for its second year of their Northwest Electrical Metering School.
Operating in its 71st year, Western Energy Institute’s school curriculum emphasizes the importance of quality technical training in metering, while integrating fresh technological trends and perspectives. This course is designed to support metering apprentices and journeymen in the electric utility industry through expert lectures and hands-on lab training, covering everything from the basics of metering theory to AMI and high-end meter applications.
NWEMS will use space in the following buildings: 1100, 1500, 1700, and 9000.
Please note that we’re expecting a higher volume of visitors on campus throughout the week.
