Veterans Day flag ceremony

Veteran's Day Flag Ceremony Flyer 10.28Join us for a flag raising ceremony in honor of Veteran’s Day at the flagpole in between the PUB and 1000 building at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10.

We will be honoring and celebrating our United States Military Veterans.  The 40&8 will be generously providing the college with a new POW-MIA flag.  The Shoreline Singers will perform the Star Bangled Banner.  Remarks by Shoreline Community College President, Dr. Cheryl Roberts and Dean of Students, Kim Thompson.

Reception to follow in the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) in the FOSS Building, Room 5225A.

Congratulations to the women’s soccer team!

The Shoreline women’s soccer team hosted and won 1-0 it’s first round playoff game against North Idaho College on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Shaleiyah Wilson scored in the 47th minute to give the Dolphins the win.

The team heads on to the quarterfinals and travels to Lane Community College on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Reminder! Foundation breakfast is Thursday, Nov. 6

The 17th Annual Shoreline Community College Foundation Student Success Campaign Community Breakfast, is happening on Thursday, Nov. 6 and your favorite parking space may be occupied when you arrive.

The breakfast takes place from 7 – 8:30 a.m. in the main dining room. The cafeteria will open for regular service by 10 a.m. Additional items will be available that morning at the Espresso stand.

We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause as the community and campus gather together for this important event to raise much needed funds for direct aid for our students.

The Global Affairs Center and the Shoreline Veterans Program are co-sponsoring the event that features Janet Carbary (One Mind) and Tony Belot (Rally Point/6). Part of the Biotechnology Symposium.
