  • 10/6: “The New Black”
    The New Black
is a documentary that tells the story of how the African-American community is grappling with the gay rights issue in light of the recent gay marriage movement and the fight over civil rights
  • 10/13: “God Loves Uganda: Have you Heard the Good News?”
God Loves Uganda is a powerful exploration of the evangelical campaign to change African culture with values imported from America’s Christian Right

In God’s House: Asian American Lesbian & Gay Families in the Church shows how Asian American lesbians and gays have been largely invisible in Christian churches. This honest and thought-provoking film tells a story that the church needs to hear: that of Asian American Christian lesbian and gay people, their pastors, and their parents.
  • 11/3: “We Were Here: The AIDS years in San Francisco”
We Were Here: The AIDS years in San Francisco showcases the story of when AIDS arrived in San Francisco in 1981, and how it decimated a community, but also brought people together in inspiring and moving ways to support and care for one another and to fight for dignity and a cure.
