Blood drive on September 30

One Pint of Blood

One pint of blood is all it takes,

But many of us wonder if this is a mistake.

One pint of blood – is that too much?

One pint of blood is equal to two cups.

As long as you re-hydrate, you’ll start right back up!

One pint of blood every 56 days,

Three lives can be saved – are you amazed?

One pint of blood is all we need

Would you like to join us for this good deed?

Please continue to help us by donating to the Puget Sound Blood Center – the need for blood never ends. The blood drive will be in the PUB quiet dining room on Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 10-4 p.m. (with a lunch break from 12-1). Don’t wait, sign up now before your preferred time slot is taken! Photo I.D. required to donate

Thank you so much to everyone who is planning to give! Come join us and be part of the “save lives” club.

The first day…

…of fall quarter 2014 is upon us!

We can hardly believe it and are so excited to begin.

On top of classes starting on Sept. 24, there are a ton of events happening on campus. Make sure to check out the calendar for a full list of what is happening this week and throughout the year and bookmark it for future use too!

Please encourage students to take part in welcome week as well. There are a lot of great informational workshops and events for students to get connected.

Have a wonderful quarter everyone!

Museum opens on campus

Shoreline is hosting a museum of the college’s first 50 years on campus in the Fishbowl. On September 22, there was a ribbon cutting and reception to celebrate the grand opening.

The museum has photos, articles and memorabilia from over the years on display. The Student Leadership Center collected items for the museum and set everything up. The museum will be in the Fishbowl for at least a month, so make sure to stop by and check everything out!
