Final UW info session of the quarter

There will be a University of Washington Transfer Admission and Planning session on Wed, Dec 4 at 1:30 in room 9201 – PUB.

The session will discuss minimum admission requirements, preparing for transfer and getting to know UW resources. Questions welcome! Please let students that are thinking about transferring know!

Welcome back! Here’s a look ahead

Here are just a few of the things happening on campus this week:

Monday, Dec. 2:

The final parliament meeting of the quarter will be taking place from 3-5 p.m. in the PUB Quiet Dining Room. Feel free to stop by and encourage students to attend and participate in their student government!

Tuesday, Dec. 3:

Club Council meeting will take place from 12:30 until 2. Head over to the SLC for more info!

The Shoreline concert band will perform at Shorecrest High School from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 5:

The improvisation groups will perform in the PUB lobby from 12:30-1:30. Head on over and check em out!

Shoreline’s Drama department presents Neil Simon’s “Rumors” at 7:30. Ticket prices are $11 for general public, $9 for seniors and non-students and $7 for students.

Friday, Dec. 6:

FINAL DAY OF CLASSES. (There are still exams to be held, but classes are done meeting for the quarter!)

Apple Cup Shuttle

The annual Apple Cup football game between the UW Huskies and WSU Cougars is at Husky Stadium this year.

If you’re going to the game, there is a special $5.00 “Apple Cup Shuttle Service” you can take, but you need to pre-register. The Blue Route #1 runs from Shoreline Community College. The game is on Friday, November 29, 2013 and kick off is at 12:30pm. Shuttles start at 9 a.m. from SCC.

Thanksgiving break hours and openings

The college will be completely closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29.

The library will be open during the weekend on Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1 from  12-6 p.m.

Just a reminder…

applecup Join us for a “friendly” get together celebrating the Apple Cup! (We promise that everyone will be on their best behavior!)

Wednesday, Nov. 27, will be the day to choose sides and wear your pride! Head over to the central conference room in the Admin. building (1000) at 3 p.m. and enjoy some apple treats. A team photo will be taken (so make sure to look your best!)
