Message about Constitution Day, Sept. 17

Dear Colleague,

On September 17, 1787, the 39 delegates to the Constitutional Convention gathered to sign one of the United States’ most important founding documents. The U.S. Constitution is the oldest written national constitution still in effect.

This Constitution Day, I hope you will take a moment to not only reflect on the careful insight that went into crafting a document that would stand the test of time, but also to appreciate the endurance of the American freedoms that are inherent within it.

Here are some things you can do to celebrate Constitution Day:

Respectfully,
Cheryl Roberts, Ed.D.
President

Message from TSS regarding Windows 10/Office 2016 migration

During the summer quarter and continuing through summer break, Technology Support Services is migrating all Windows 7 and Windows 8 systems to Windows 10. The upgrade to Windows 10 includes upgrading to Office 2016. It is TSS’s goal to have all systems on campus migrated to Windows 10 by the start of autumn quarter.

While you may still opt to complete this process yourself via Software Center, this upgrade process is being pushed to all systems to complete this automatically. The majority of these will be completed during the evening and weekend time periods to minimize any disruption to normal operations. If any scheduling is required, TSS will contact you directly to coordinate.

Should you have any questions, comments or concerns, please let TSS know.
