Shoreline is celebrating International Education Week from Nov. 18-20. The international education department kicked off the events with a Fashion Show, featuring traditional clothing from around the world and the chance for anyone to try on the clothes after the show.

There was also a discussion with Dr. Ernest Johnson about Nelson Mandela and a discussion with IE staff about the largest international student population group: students from China.

Here are more photos of the events, be sure to check back as more will be added throughout the week.

Here are the rest of the weeks events:

These cards make a perfect gift

snowflakeBe good to yourself or get something for your loved ones or friends with a purchase of gift cards through the Shoreline Foundation’s Cards for College program.  You can purchase cards for conventional Holiday gifts – movies, chocolates, a dinner out; or consider ordering an iTunes card for the music lover or a Starbucks card for the coffee drinker in your family.

Don’t forget your four legged friends! A card to PetSmart would be dog gone purrfect for your furry friend. Order blanks can be found on the Cards for College webpage:

Order online or in the SCC Foundation office – room 1005. Orders are due by Monday, Nov. 24 at 4 p.m. so the cards will be back in plenty of time before the Holiday season.
