We welcome Derek Jorgenson as an Instructional Designer in eLearning Services, located in the 1200 building. Derek arrived in Washington from Fargo, ND via Pennsylvania. He has worked in higher education for more than fifteen years, including faculty positions, information literacy instruction and library management, and as an instructional designer.

As we move into the Winter Quarter, please note our new service hours for Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and the Cashier beginning Tuesday, January 21st. This new schedule will allow us time to prepare for the new, modern information system, ctcLink, that is coming in 2020. The new computing system will provide a better experience for students, staff, and faculty. More information about this exciting project will be provided as it progresses.

Classroom Support Services for Winter 2020

Classroom Support Services provides training on the AV system in your classroom and consultation on your ideas for ways to serve your students through the use of media technology tools. Media tools include Panopto for lecture capture, Zoom for web-based video conferencing, and academic video production services.

Avanti Markets begins campus food service with grand opening celebration Jan. 8

The College’s new food service vendor, Avanti Markets, will begin services on the first day of winter quarter, Jan. 8. Located in the same space as the cafeteria in the PUB Main Dining Room, The Market at Shoreline is a micro market offering a variety of healthy grab-and-go fresh meal, snack, and beverage options. It is a self-serve market with pay kiosks and will be open whenever the PUB is open.
The grand opening celebration is happening in The Market at Shoreline on Wed., Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Stop by to check out The Market and for a chance to win prizes including:

Dear Colleague,
During the evenings of Jan 2nd, 3rd, and 6th, the maintenance crew will be painting a non-slip epoxy flooring in the 9100 all-gender restrooms. Hours of work will be 3:30 p.m. to midnight.
