Update on the search for Dean of Advanced Technology and Workforce

Good morning,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to give you information about the status of the Dean of Advanced Technology and Workforce position. Let me begin by expressing my gratitude to the screening committee, who did an outstanding job with the process and the search.

In the end, the search was unsuccessful. At this time, we are reevaluating the position designation and working to determine our next steps prior to re-opening the position. In the interim, Guy Hamilton has graciously agreed to assume the additional leadership role in the Automotive programs, and will keep limited hours in the Automotive Building.

During this period, the Workforce Education programs will report directly to me in the office of Academic and Student Affairs.

Thank you for your patience during this transition time. I’m looking forward to  working alongside you as we welcome the new academic year!

With best regards,

Alison Stevens

Executive VP, Academic and Student Affairs
