Dr. Alison Stevens is returning to Shoreline and her first day on campus in her role as the Executive Vice President for Academic & Student Affairs is Monday, June 20th.

Please welcome Ángel de Jesus González, new Assistant Director of the Student Leadership Center

IMG_0138.JPGPlease welcome Ángel de Jesus González as the new Assistant Director of the Student Leadership Center. Ángel’s first day in his new position was Mon., June 6.

Originally from Southern California,  Ángel completed his undergraduate career at Whittier College double majoring in Environmental Science and Spanish. It is at Whittier College where Ángel discovered his vocation of working with students and decided to pursue a Master of Arts in Post-secondary Educational Leadership with a Specialization in Student Affairs at San Diego State University.

Ángel has worked as a Study Abroad Advisor, Graduate Assistant at Whittier College, and most recently served as a Resident Director at Pacific Lutheran University. He is extremely excited to join the Shoreline community and foster a space that will help him and his students grow. He looks forward to supporting his students and advocating for equity and social justice. In his downtime, Ángel likes to explore, travel, dance and eat with his partner. He looks forward to challenging and supporting his students as they find their passion and purpose.

Welcome Maria Crosbie to Virtual Campus, eLearning, and Instructional Technology

maria.jpgMaria Crosbie will be joining Shoreline Community College as Program Coordinator for the Virtual Campus, eLearning, and Instructional Technology department on Monday, June 6. Maria is currently serving North Seattle College as Program Coordinator of Nursing, where she provides administrative support to students and faculty while overseeing clinical coordination. Maria has been working in administrative support roles and customer service for 10+ years and has worked in both the private and public sector.

A California native, Maria and her husband moved to the Pacific Northwest four years ago. Maria loves cooking and gardening and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and puppy, Theo.
