Welcome Week events for Jan. 4-7
Health coverage enrollment event, Wed., Jan. 6
If you do not have health insurance or if you have questions about insurance, here’s your chance to get free help enrolling through the “Washington HealthPlanFinder” on Wed., January 6 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Stop by the Pagoda Union Building (PUB) on the 2nd floor and chat with a certified Navigator. They’ll walk you through the application process and help you choose a plan that best fits your budget and need. The deadline to sign up for health insurance is January 31.
Keep in mind that 85% of people got financial help to pay for their health plan.
Remember to bring the following items:
- Names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers for all members of your household
- Proof of household income
- Immigration documents (if applicable)
Soulful Sounds of Christmas concert on campus Mon., Dec. 21

Pat Wright & The Total Experience Gospel Choir along with guest soloist Nichol Eskridge, will grace the stage again at Shoreline Community College, in the Little Theater, Mon., Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. for the 27th year of the “Soulful Sounds of Christmas” musical concert, most of these years being sell out performances. This high-spirited evening of Gospel & Christmas music has been a mainstay at Shoreline Community College benefiting athletics for years.
Wright and The Total Experience Gospel Choir are no strangers to the Pacific NW, with 30 plus years of performing hand-clapping, foot-stomping, toe-tapping gospel music at various venues in the northwest. The choir is very well known nationally and internationally and have travelled and performed in 38 states, on 5 continents and 22 countries. The choir consists of persons ages 6-72. The choir has been credited with numerous awards and 7 recordings.

Celebrate the end of the quarter with Funk & Groove this Sat., Dec. 12

What better way to celebrate the end of the quarter than to dance the night away to the smooth sounds of Funk & Groove? Join us for a lively celebration this Sat., Dec. 12 at The Ould Triangle in Seattle at 9 p.m.

Shoreline’s Funk & Groove is a retro music performance group that’s a contemporary tribute to the funky vibe of the 70s and beyond. Funk & Groove performs hit songs from a variety of genres including pop, jazz, funk, R&B, soul and rap.
Last chance to see Noises Off this weekend! Ends Sunday, Dec. 13

Shoreline’s Theater department’s production of Noises Off, a British farce about putting on a farce, runs through Sun., Dec. 13. Tickets can be purchased here. Hurry! Tickets for this popular show are going to go fast!
