Dessert Social- July 25! Hosted by eLearning Services and Instructional Media

The next dessert social is hosted by eLearning Services and Instructional Media and will be held in Rm #1208M of the 1200 building on Tuesday, July 25, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Dessert socials will be hosted weekly across campus throughout the summer on various days. The following week the social will be hosted by Workforce and STEM Division and

HO/PE and Business Division on Wednesday, August 2, 11:30am-12:30pm in Pond/Garden area between 2600 and 2300 buildings (Rm #2305 is back-up, indoor location, if needed).

NW SolarFest Sustainable Living Fair on campus this Sat., July 22

Learn how to live a more sustainable life while having fun in the sun. Bring the family and visit the KIDZone to get a solar mini car, build a birdhouse, make your own trail mix, and many other activities. Solar curious? Talk to local solar installers and see what solar solutions are right for you. Tour tiny houses, see the latest in electric transportation, and test ride an electric bike. Check out the solar art gallery, join the Barter Fair, participate in meaningful discussions in the Conversation Café, and screen the film “Living Tiny Legally” at the campus theater. Visit booths that highlight products, services, and information to help you make choices that will help leave a cleaner, safer planet for our children. Enjoy the low carbon, high joy, food, and entertainment.

• Tiny Houses on display, screening of “Living Tiny Legally” (4pm), Tiny House Meetup (1pm)
• Conversation Cafes on Sustainable Living
• NW EcoBuilding Guild Talks (on the hour 11am – 4pm)

Open Q&A for Associate Dean of Library Services, July 20 & 21

You are invited to attend Open Q&A sessions with two candidates for Associate Dean of Library Services who will be on campus Thursday and Friday, July 20 and 21.
