Part-time Faculty Professional Development Pool Funds applications are due Fri., Dec. 1

Part-time Faculty Professional Development Pool Funds Applications are due to the Office of Student Learning & Success (Rm 1003) by 5pm on Friday, December 1st.

Part-time faculty may submit an application for Professional Development Pool Funds at any time during the academic year for consideration of an initial disbursement of up to $500.00. Applications in excess of $500.00 will be reviewed after each of the two deadlines, this Friday, December 1st and the second Friday in April, April 13th, 2018. Funds will be disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.

All requests will be evaluated by the Professional Development Funds Committee. Equal consideration will be given to any of the activities listed in the instructions for initial disbursement of funds up to $500.00.

The Counseling Center provides free, confidential and professional counseling servicesresources, and referral to support the academic and personal success, health, and well-being of our students and campus community.

Students often visit the Counseling Center to discuss a wide variety of topics: depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and stress management; indecision about major or career path; and academic concerns such as failing grades, struggling with a subject, or managing a learning disability. The Center also supports students who may be feeling suicidal or in crisis.

Registration for new students begins Mon., Nov. 20

Registration for winter quarter 2018 begins for new students on Mon., Nov. 20. If you know a current and continuing student who has not already registered, please encourage them to register before Nov. 20 to ensure they get the classes they need to complete their degree on time. Registration for winter quarter 2018 is now open to all current and continuing students. Register now!
