Shoreline is piloting Dropout Detective in online and hybrid classes. Dropout Detective integrates into Canvas and helps faculty and Success Coaches, at a glance, identify and support at-risk students.

The pilot project started Fall 2016. The College is evaluating whether to renew the license, due to expire September 1, 2017. Your input will help inform this decision.

Canvas update this Sat., June 3

In this Saturday’s Canvas update (June 3), the Course Home Page can display recent announcements, and the Gradebook Individual View displays weighted grading periods. The Rich Content Editor sidebar enhancements are available for all areas of Canvas including Quizzes, and the Rich Content Editor includes several updates.
