Wave of Gratitude

Waves of Gratitude to Carrie Cutler of the Counseling Center for Empathy, Responsiveness, and Compassion

The door to the Counseling Center is always closed to ensure student and counselor privacy and respect, but as soon as you walk in, you are met with a friendly and welcoming presence who is Carrie. She approaches you with compassion and understanding, and eager to help you-whether you are a student, a colleague, or a community guest-placing you in the best and warmest hands. It’s difficult to narrow down a specific situation because this gratitude shout-out is truly a wave that encompasses all she does for the Counseling Center and the College.

Carrie is also supported by an exceptional team of counselors and interns, all of whom demonstrate a genuine passion for fostering students’ personal wellbeing and academic success. The college is fortunate to have such an amazing team and valuable student resource.

Shoreline Shout-Out

A Shoreline Shout-out to Learning Resources.

Many thanks to Erika Breysse and Kelsey Moore in Learning Resources for their guidance and support in helping HR plan and implement our integration into the Support Ticketing System.

We started collaborating in August, and they were unfailingly patient with all of our questions and concerns right up until we went live on December 15. They went above and beyond by suggesting ways to set up our system so it would work best given the specific nature of common HR requests. They kept us on track and made sure we felt supported. HR’s integration into the Support ticketing system will benefit all employees and Kelsey and Erika were instrumental in helping us go live! From our entire HR team, thank you, Kelsey and Erika!

Wave of Gratitude

A Wave of Gratitude to Kevin Verver of Technical Support Services for Respect

Kevin has been patient, responsive, helpful, and fun to work with throughout the HR integration into the Support ticketing system. We really appreciated Kevin’s ability to anticipate HR needs within the system prior to our going live. He is still assisting us with troubleshooting and repeated questions as we get used to navigating the system. Thank you, Kevin, from the HR team!
