Approximately 12 films will be selected to participate in the Festival. Those films will be screened at the Shoreline Community College Theater on April 22, 2023.
The best of the best will take home cash prizes and a campy Sasquatch Award!

Meet the New Faces of Learning Resources- Welcome!
Learning Resources has added two new permanent hires since April started. Welcome and Welcome again to:
Amy Rovner, Director of eLearning

Amy Rovner began her career at Shoreline in 2011 as part-time faculty teaching Nutrition 101. When Shoreline switched to Canvas in 2013, she quickly took to the it and was happy to support other faculty with the transition when she was selected as eLearning Faculty-in-Residence. That position led to becoming an eLearning Instructional Designer the following year. Amy has filled in as “Acting Director” of eLearning Services twice in the recent past when campus needed her to backfill. She is excited to continue working with the eLearning team to support our online and hybrid students and faculty. When not working, you can find Amy hanging out with her family, playing with Bobo her COVID pup and hiking, camping and backpacking in our beautiful Pacific NW.
Jeff Janosik, Director of Student Learning Center

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jeff has been living in the Seattle area since 2011. He has a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, an MA in English from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and is currently writing his dissertation, on nineteenth-century British fiction and economics, for a PhD at the University of Washington. Jeff has taught English composition, technical writing, and literature at UW Milwaukee, UW Seattle, Highline Community College, Everett Community College, and North Seattle College, where he was also English department coordinator for the Page One Writing Center. In his scant free time, Jeff enjoys cooking, skiing, and music.
