New SBCTC “How to Use OER” Training

SBCTC invites you and your faculty to participate in our recently redesigned “How to Use OER” training that began on Mon., Jan. 23, 2017. We’ve updated and restructured the course content to keep it more coherent with new developments around OER. Registration is open until January 26.

This two-week course is fully online and asynchronous, providing participants with information and experience in adopting and integrating open educational resources (OER) into their pedagogy. In addition to discussing the concept of OER, participants will practice locating, citing, and sharing OER.

As this is a fully facilitated training that will produce an official certificate upon successful completion, participants are expected to spend 10 hours to complete the course. This training is FREE.
