Construction Update: Bracken Building Project

We were notified this afternoon by Bayley (Bracken building contractor) of work that will begin across the NE end of campus on, Wednesday 11/19, at 5:00am. The work is expected to be completed by 8:00am, Friday, 11/21.

The work will impact parking stalls by buildings 2300, 2900, and 6000 and there will be a one lane closure east of building 2900, traffic control will be in place during the lane closure.

See map below for reference.

Power shutdown on Friday, 11/21

Forma will need to conduct another power shutdown as part of the Greenhouse project.  This power shutdown will impact building 6000 on Friday, 11/21, from 5am to 7am.  This will affect most of the 1st floor power and lighting.  The fire alarm system will be put into test mode.  This shutdown will not impact classes and will have little impact to the freezers/fridges in the building. Maintenance will be onsite to assist Forma.

Please reach out to the department of Facilities and Capital Projects if you have any questions.
