You’re invited to the 50th Seattle International Film Festival!

We are excited to announce that the Shoreline Community College Theater will once again, be participating as a venue for this year’s Seattle International Film Festival.

We will be kicking off the activities here with an Opening Night Party on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 5:30. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Shorecrest Culinary Arts and beverages by North City Bistro.

Following the party, we will be showing the movie “Evil Does Not Exist.” Winner of the Best Film Award at the BFI London Film Festival, this complex and mysterious drama centers on Mizubiki, a remote lakeside village that’s about to be overtaken by a new “glamping” site built on sensitive natural land.

Tickets to the Opening Night Party are $50 and can be purchased via this landing page on our site. However, there is a discount code for Shoreline employees to receive 1/2 off. Please check for today’s e-mail to retrieve the code. The evening’s festivities are supported by the Shoreline Community College Foundation. When you support this event, you’re supporting Shoreline’s students and program. Our film programs plays a vital role in nurturing aspiring filmmakers and providing them with valuable skills for a successful career in the industry.

Shoreline Community College will also be hosting a number of additional films throughout the festival. Tickets can be purchased here.
